Sphagnum Moss
Sphagnum Moss is a great substrate. It is super absorbent and naturally inhibits fungal and bacterial growth. Sphagnum moss makes a great substrate for froglets and as a soil topping in vivariums. It also helps to maintain humidity very well, and makes a great substrate for humid hides.
Sphagnum moss is also a great substrate for plants that like their roots wet, as well as to root cuttings.
