Most Orders placed by 4:00 PM EST Monday-Friday ship the same day according to the following rules:

Shipping Fruit Flies, Springtails, Phoenix Worms, and Rice Flour Beetles

Live arrival of feeder insects is guaranteed only when someone is present when the package arrives and you contact us within an hour of any problems.If the temperatures in your area exceed 85 degrees or drop below 25 degrees the live arrival guarantee is void. The shipping cost includes a $2 fee which covers an insulated box and heat/cold packs when necessary. Because UPS does not deliver on Saturday and Sunday and USPS does not deliver on Sundays, the following shipping schedule has been implemented for orders containing live insects:

Shipping Dry Goods with Fruit Flies, Springtails, Phoenix Worms, and Rice Flour Beetles

During checkout on these types of orders, you will be given the opportunity to choose whether to ship your order as one package or as two packages. Depending on weight, your location, quantities orders, etc. it may be cheaper to send two packages (one containing your dry goods and the other your live goods).

Due to USPS and UPS dimensional weight, Josh's Frogs reserves the right split an order into two shipments utilizing UPS Ground for Dry Goods in order to keep the shipping costs down.

Shipping Crickets, Worms, Superworms, and Waxworms

These insects are shipped via FedEx Next Day. Orders ship Monday-Thursday and will arrive the next day. Orders must by placed by 4:00 PM EST in order to ship the same day. Live arrival of feeder insects is guaranteed only when someone is present when the package arrives and you contact us within an hour of any problems.

Shipping Plants

Plants are shipped from the greenhouse and separate from all other items purchased. Plants are shipped Monday-Wednesday and Saturdays. Plant Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST in order to ship the next shipping day. Plant shipments during extreme weather are only guaranteed when someone is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. All plant shipments will not ship if the low temperature dips below 20 degrees in Stockbridge, MI or the destination city.

Shipping Frogs

Frogs are shipped via UPS Next Day (Monday-Thursday). Live arrival on frogs is guaranteed only when someone is present to receive the frogs on the first delivery attempt. Please contact us within one hour of any DOA or any problems with the frogs. You may request a hold at the office for any frog delivery. In the notes section of your order, please let us know which day you would like your frogs to be shipped. Frogs paid for can be held for up to 2 weeks. If no date is given in the notes section, your frogs will be shipped at the next available shipping date. WE WILL NOT SHIP FROGS WHEN THE HIGH TEMPERATURES IN YOUR AREA ARE ABOVE 85 DEGREES OR BELOW 40 DEGREES.

Shipping International

Josh's Frogs offers international shipping options during checkout to our customers outside of the USA. Josh's Frogs will not ship insects, plants, or frogs outside of the USA.  There may be extra charges such as taxes, duties, brokerage fees, etc. that your governament/customs will assess on these packages.  These charges change and are different for every country.  These extra charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
