Dendrobates Amazonicus is one of the most stunning of all the thumbnail frogs.  They are active, breed relatively easily, and do great in groups.

Frogs are not sexable unless otherwise specified.

Frogs are shipped via FedEx Overnight and to select locations by USPS Express Mail.

All frog shipments are sent via FedEx Overnight Air or USPS Express mail (where available). Therefore, your frogs will arrive the next day before noon. Josh's Frogs offers a live arrival guarantee on all frog shipments provided that:

  • temperatures during transit do not exceed 85 degrees
  • temperatures during transit do not drop below 40 degrees for delivery to address
  • temperatures during transit do not drop below 30 degrees for pickup at the nearest FedEx Customer Center
  • someone is there to accept the package when it is delivered

I have 3 of these guys and they're definitely some of my favorites. Mine were active and great eaters from the day I got them from Josh. Their coloration is beautiful and they're moderately bold in their 12x12x18 exoterra and I suspect they will become even more so as their tank grows in. They use the whole tank and seem to particularly enjoy sitting in their bromeliads. (Posted on 3/18/11)
