These insects are tiny (less than half a centimeter!) and make a great supplimental food for your frogs. You can also seed your tanks with these insects and they will reproduce in the tank! The Tropical variety of these guys culture slower than the temperate cultures, but can withstand warmer temperatures.

Feed weekly with uncooked pasta, uncooked white rice, or baker's yeast. Cultures can last years. We recommend that you buy a starter culture and use it start a larger culture (I use 5 qt. sterilite containers). Larger cultures produce better and are less prone to CO2 buildup.

This is the first time i ever branched out to a new food source for my dart frogs. When i ordered the tropical springtails i had many questions and i was not sure how they would turn out. I have had them for about 3 weeks and they are doing great and they multiply very fast once the culture is established. Using the wood charcoal works amazing giving the topical springtails the ability to move through the substrate.
