When I got this culture I thought they were all dead or nothing was in it. I followed the directions Josh provided of leaving the top off for a bit to let the CO2 out. After a couple hours I saw some crawling around. Switched them over to a lager tub and they are producing like crazy!
I have been feeding them the leftover crested gecko diet. It will mold in the tub fairly quickly and they feast on the mold. (Posted on 5/8/12)

I have had this culture for months in the same tube I got them in and they keep producing, I got it down to barely any and left them alone and they sprung back to life with thousands again. With little feeding and maintenance one of the best extra food sources for frogs.

This is the first time i ever branched out to a new food source for my dart frogs. When i ordered the tropical springtails i had many questions and i was not sure how they would turn out. I have had them for about 3 weeks and they are doing great and they multiply very fast once the culture is established. Using the wood charcoal works amazing giving the topical springtails the ability to move through the substrate. The springtails are now one of my favorite food sources and i rely heavily on the springtails for a great food source for any size dart frog. (Posted on 3/18/11)
