This orchid is a very easy to grow terrestrial orchid. It has deep maroon leaves that are around 3" long. This orchid grows vigorously in terrariums, and has elegant white flowers that last a long time.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root to lower the shipping cost. Therefore, you will either need to plant your plants in your terrarium when they arrive or be prepared to pot them. Plastic or Styrofoam cFedEx with a hole in the bottom for drainage make great temporary pots.

Plants are shipped from the greenhouse and separate from all other items purchased. Plants are shipped Monday-Wednesday and Saturdays. Plant Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST in order to ship the next shipping day. Plant shipments during extreme weather are only guaranteed when someone is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. All plant shipments will not ship if the low temperature dips below 20 degrees in Stockbridge, MI or the destination city.

All plants are guaranteed to arrive healthy and true to name. This guarantee is void during extreme weather if someone is not present to accept the package on the first attempt. Quality

Out of all the plants that I cultivate in and outside of my vivariums, this is definitely one of my favorites. It came larger then expected with two offshoots already, and it hasn't stopped growing since. It's surprisingly one of my fastest growing plants. It's absolutely beautiful in person, and easy to grow as well. I'm happy with all the plants I ordered through Josh, but this one definitely deserves the 5 stars and my comments. (Posted on 5/15/12)

I previously bought 5 plants from this site, and this was one of the cheapest ones. As it turns out, it is my favorite of the bunch! It is a great plant for frogs that like to climb, and it is extremely hardy and easy to maintain. I will never have another viv that does not have one of these amazing plants in it. This is a gorgeous plant---it makes a tall inflorescence with graceful white flowers all around it. It also makes new plants from offshoots---it is very hardy in a wet vivarium, and just won't give up! The leaves look as though they're glowing under the flourescent light. (Posted on 3/18/11)
