These remarkable natives of tropical rainforests are truly stunning. You may see some of these as exhibition plants at theme parks and botanical gardens throughout the world. Large, showy leaves on plants (which can grow quite large) and blooms that hang in clusters like grapes make these one of the most wonderful of plants for horticulture.

You will receive a generous cutting of  'Torch'.  Cuttings are far easier to ship, plus since they are free of soil they are easier to place in your viv.  Simply put the cutting in your viv, buried in the substrate up to the first node.  It will root easily.  No need for rooting hormone, but you could use some if you want. 

All of our plants are shipped bare-root to lower the shipping cost. Therefore, you will either need to plant your plants in your terrarium when they arrive or be prepared to pot them.  Plastic or Styrofoam cups with a hole in the bottom for drainage make great temporary pots.

Plants are shipped from the greenhouse and separate from all other items purchased. Plants are shipped Monday-Wednesday and Saturdays. Plant Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST in order to ship the next shipping day. Plant shipments during extreme weather are only guaranteed when someone is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. All plant shipments will not ship if the low temperature dips below 20 degrees in Stockbridge, MI or the destination city.
