We have a mix of cryptanthus cultivars without labels, in a variety of colors.  "Grower's Choice" means I'll pick out a nice one for you.  The image shows a few of the different cultivars, but there are more varieties in the greenhouse.

All cryptanthus are effectively terrestrial, and will do best when planted on the tank floor or in a pocket of moisture retentive substrate on the background.  They don't need a lot of light to survive, but the colors will be more intense in brighter light, so keep overhanging foliage clear for best results.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root to lower the shipping cost. Therefore, you will either need to plant your plants in your terrarium when they arrive or be prepared to pot them.  Plastic or Styrofoam cups with a hole in the bottom for drainage make great temporary pots.

Plants are shipped from the greenhouse and separate from all other items purchased. Plants are shipped Monday-Wednesday and Saturdays. Plant Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST in order to ship the next shipping day. Plant shipments during extreme weather are only guaranteed when someone is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. All plant shipments will not ship if the low temperature dips below 20 degrees in Stockbridge, MI or the destination city.
