Java moss is a great 'moss' that is adaptable to both aquatic and humid terrestrial environments.  It makes an interesting ground cover in terrariums, but I tend to use it more for tadpole cups and in froglet grow-out containers.  All of this moss has been grown in my greenhouse, it has never been exposed to dart frogs.

You will receive one 'ball' of moss, compressed to approximately a golf ball size, each ball will be slightly different.  Store your extra java moss in a deli container or other vessel with some water and a clear top, and give it low light.

All of our plants are shipped bare-root to lower the shipping cost. Therefore, you will either need to plant your plants in your terrarium when they arrive or be prepared to pot them.  Plastic or Styrofoam cups with a hole in the bottom for drainage make great temporary pots.

Plants are shipped from the greenhouse and separate from all other items purchased. Plants are shipped Monday-Wednesday and Saturdays. Plant Orders must be received by 8:00 PM EST in order to ship the next shipping day. Plant shipments during extreme weather are only guaranteed when someone is present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. All plant shipments will not ship if the low temperature dips below 20 degrees in Stockbridge, MI or the destination city.

All plants are guaranteed to arrive healthy and true to name. This guarantee is void during extreme weather if someone is not present to accept the package on the first attempt.
