The Josh's Frogs Tankless Turtle Kit contains everything you need to keep a young or small aquatic turtle alive and healthy! The contents in this kit were created to fit in a glass tank with a footprint of approximately 28" x 18". This kit is designed to meet the care needs of many aquatic turtle species, however, make sure to research the specific needs of your pet to ensure this kit is appropriate for it. 1. Aquatic Filter

This easy to maintain filter is perfect for a 20 gallon tank that is half filled with water. Make sure to rinse out the included filter pad before use. By using this filter, you'll be able to reduce water changes to 25% every week!

3. Gravel

Josh's Frogs Dechlorinator renders tap water safe for use with your pets. Follow the directions on the label, and you'll be all set!

5. Aquarium Heater (50 watt)

This completely submersible aquarium heater is preset to 78F - the perfect water temperature for most commonly available aquatic turtles. This heater is constructed of plastic, leaving no fragile glass exposed to the hazard of your pets!

7. UVB bulb and Fixture

The UVB bulb’s balanced ultraviolet and visual light spectrum prevents shell softening and deformation while, adds to the physiological well-being and brings out the beauty of aquatic turtles. The bulb will contribute to the overall health of your turtles by providing the necessary UVB rays for optimal calcium metabolism while the UVA rays will contribute to the turtle’s welfare.

8. 5.5" Reflector Dome, Light Stand, and 100w Spot Light

This dome, bulb, and stand team up to bring a great heat source to your turtles! Simply attach the light stand with the adhesive base, hang the reflector dome, and install the 100w spot light. The light stand can be adjusted to vary the height of the bulb. Research the basking temperature needs of your pet turtle, and adjust the height accordingly, referencing the temperature chart on the bulb's packaging. Position the stand so that the bulb's hot spot is over the top of the Turtle Cliff, so the turtle can get high and dry when it basks.
