This kit provides you with plants that are hardy enough to withstand the extreme features of an Arid/Desert environment. These are drought-tolerant, tough species that will enjoy low humidity and bright light. Suitable for providing a naturalistic feel to any desert animal enclosure, such as leopard geckos, or to simply enjoy in a planted vivarium.

In this kit, you will receive 5 individual plants that include 3 different desert species suitable for a 24 x18 vivarium. This will include (4) 2-3” potted succulents, (1) 4” potted succulent

 The Aloe vera, Haworthia, and Echeveria species chosen for this kit are Grower's Choice plants, meaning they will be chosen from a mix of varieties of the selected desert species that are currently in stock.

Desert Plant Kit Species Selections May Include (selections based on current inventory) : 

 Aloe vera (Grower's Choice) 

• Green/ Grey-green thick fleshy leaves sometimes flecked with white spots
• Easy care, recognizable succulent native to north-eastern Oman

Echeveria spp. (Grower's Choice) 

• Forms compact rosettes of succulent fleshy, often brightly colored leaves
• Native to semi-desert areas of Central America, this plant is slightly more forgiving to overwatering

Haworthia spp. (Grower's Choice) 

• Forms rosettes with thick and often patterned leaves resembling miniature aloes
• Most species of this plant are found only in the high altitude arid environments of South Africa

Care Notes: All species listed require well-draining, sandy substrates, and bright light. Excess water will cause root rot. Consider planting with Josh's Frogs Succulent Soil. 

Shipping Notes: 

As a good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Live plants may vary in color, size, and appearance.

 ALL PLANTS ARE SHIPPED IN POTS WITH SOIL OR OTHER MEDIA UNLESS IT IS DEEMED NECESSARY TO SHIP BARE ROOT
