Another benefit of adding plants is that they help prevent smaller animals and feeding insects from drowning.

Alright for the price

For the price they are alright but I found they had a hard time staying upright with any small amount of water flow. They kept turning over on the side. I eventually just bought some live duckweed.

Too Small for a Pond

These are fine for an aquarium or water bowl, etc. Too small for a pond. I bought three packages, and they can barely be seen even when standing right next to the pond. No complaint, though. With a coupon the price was good. I was hoping to find full-sized artificial water hyacinths for the pond but have had no luck. Trying to outwit some raccoons that kept eating our real hyacinths. Turns out they eat plastic ones too!

Nice

Good for deeper water dishes and more aquatic species.
