1/2" - 3/4" Dubia Roaches are a great large feeder for bearded dragons, chameleons, leopard geckos, fat tail geckos, or similarly sized insectivores. Easy to care for, nutritious, and easy to breed, dubia roaches are a convenient way to provide your pet reptiles and amphibians with a delicious bug meal. Our dubia roaches are sorted by hole size in sorting bins, then packaged based on weight. Because of this, the size and number of roaches will vary slightly. We weigh in your favor - you will receive more dubia than you've ordered! There may be the occasional tiny dubia baby mixed in - those are on us!

For more information about dubia roach keeping and breeding, check out our blog on keeping and breeding dubia roaches.

DUBIA ROACHES CANNOT SHIP TO FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA, LOUISIANA, AND HAWAII.

Josh's Frogs has the proper USDA permits in place to legally ship dubia roaches across most state lines. As long as you do not live in one of those states, you can legally order and receive dubia roaches from Josh's Frogs. A copy of the relevant permits is available via email upon ordering. We partnered with the USDA to create a handout informing any insect/animal/plant purchasers to not release organisms into the wild, and how to dispose of them properly. This informative flier is included free of charge with every dubia roach purchase.

We love these roaches! Review by Brooke
Quality
My son got his first leopard gecko this year for his 10th birthday. We did some research and decided to feed him dubias, he also eats crickets and mealworms. We just purchased our second round of dubias from Josh's Frogs. They look magnificent! All alive and well. These guys are great! No nasty smell, no chirping. We almost hate to feed them to the gecko. Very active and good quality Review by Lauren
Quality
First off I am super freaked out by roaches, but once I got over the ick factor I find that I like them much better than crickets. They are very quiet and dont escape from their containers. Plus they looked great when they arrived! My bearded dragon, Nymeria, stopped eating and was starting to not look so good. So I figured I would try some roaches. At first she wanted nothing to do with them she would spit them back out and turn her nose up at them. However after a couple of weeks of trying to tempt her with them and offering them to her she started to slowly eat some of them. Now she loves them and I couldn't be happier. She is finally eating better again and looking great! So I definitely recommend this product, it just took my dragon awhile to accept them. I'm not really sure why maybe she was just used to her other food, but once she decided she liked them it was on. she gets really excited to eat now(: (Posted on 8/10/2018)
Fast shipping Review by Kj

Order and fedx delivery the next day. Had problems with other online company not sending out shipping for a week so decided to try josh frogs. Very impressed i order 200 all in good shape there’s some bigger and smaller ones but there the extra. Was a bonus because I gave the tiny ones to my anoles. My only problem would be the silk baggies they come in art kinda challenging to get them out other than that I’m super happy. (Posted on 8/9/2018)

Switched my Beardie off Hornworms with Ease Review by Brittany
Quality
My beardie (Drogon) can often be a picky eater and we have decided to switch him off his horneworm diet as recommended by our vet. We decided to give the dubia roaches a try! After speaking with someone in the char who was a wonderful help, we ordered a 25 count with roach food. Drogon had no issues and loves them! I thought he was not going to even touch them and he dove right in. They arrived fast and I did not even see any dead ones. They are easy to care for and I really appreciate the customer service at Josh's Frogs. I will be ordering these going forward. (Posted on 5/3/2018)

No Luck Review by JenVW
Quality
I purchased these after my crested geckos developed pinworms, presumably from the crickets I was buying from Petland, and needed a safer and more healthy food source (they won't eat the Repashy that I give them each evening, I'm assuming because they were exclusively fed crickets at their pet store). Dubia roaches were recommended by my vet, so I ordered the smallest ones. I had high hopes, but my geckos will only follow them around and then lose interest since they move slowly. They will even lick them, but they won't eat them. I went so far as to try to force feed them, holding the roaches against their mouths, and they would eventually chomp on them but then shook their heads and spat them out. Maybe it's the tough and sharp exoskeleton? This review is only missing a star due to my lack of success in feeding. The roaches are breeding like crazy, if only my geckos would eat them.
