Care Notes: Flowering and fruiting are rare in homegrown vanilla plants. If you are lucky enough to get a flower it must be pollinated manually, during the morning, if fruit is desired. The plants are self-fertile, and pollination simply requires a transfer of the pollen from the anther to the stigma. If not pollinated, the flower will be dropped the next day. 

Shipping Notes: As a good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Live plants may vary in color, size, and appearance.
